Been Busy!

Its frightening how fast time flies by, it seemed like it was a night ago when i wrote the last post, and now i realise i've been neglecting my blog for almost 2 weeks! Anyway, the last 2 weeks were interesting, i've started working at my uncles shop for all of 3 hours a day. Its one place that makes you realise that it indeed takes all kinds to make this world. Sunday ultimate games have been going on too, and i dont think i've been doing all that good a job in it, at least not recently. So, thats why i've begun a small-ish training program( like 2-and-a-half hours a day) which involves gymwork and cycling. The one thing that is worrying me is i've been having a lot of pain in my lower back, so i might just check that out first. I've finally paid my fees for college, my guess is i'll be flying off only in january....=( Its the time of the year where you look back on the past year and cherished the good moments that came along with 2004. All this while listening to joan osbourne- what if god was one of us......

Sunday...time for ultimate frisbee!!!!!!

okay...so its not exactly sunday anymore....but, remember when you were a kid, and the day doesnt end till you sleep?well as old as i am now i still hold true to that perception, anyway, sunday has finally arrived. It is the day of the week where i can just let loose and really enjoy myself because it is the one day where i can be truly be the lean, mean running machine that is otherwise known as myself. Maybe i overdosed on the superlatives, mainly the lean ,mean and machine part. I'm lean, but only because of the fact i'm grossly underweight, mean in the sense i steal my sister's nutrigen as soon as my mum buys it, and i'm definitely not a machine( a lot of people can give proof to that, i cant even run a quarter mile race). Back to the story, today we played ultimate frisbee, and we had quite a good turnout. we played sevens for a period of time, with a sub for each team. midway through the game, mother nature decided she'd be a tad bit generous and give us the by-product of keeping her bladder in for too long. It rained a bit at first, but when the game ended and we wanted to to back to the lrt station, the skies opened up like there was no tomorrow. Its a bit of an exagerration, but i think you'll get
the picture. We reached home wet, and very hungry, so finding a restaurant was our number one priority. Once i came home, a hot bath and some quality time with friends(online, of course) made for quite a good day. Quite a busy day for a bum-at-the-moment huh?
